1. What was the Chapter # and name of the Assessment? The chapter number is five and the name of the assessment is Ethical Work Climate. 2. What was the purpose of the Assessment? The purpose of the assessment is to help rate the ethical work climate of a previous job, and to help me identify what I think the ideal ethical work climate would be. 3. What was your score/result on the Assessment and What does it mean? The actual rating that I gave the organization was a 30, and the ideal ethical climate that I prefer is a 35. The actual rating, or how the organization appeared to me was at the high end of the below-average ethical climate; the ideal rating was in the middle of the above-average ethical climate. The strongest areas of contrast were the Caring For People, Adherence to Rules and Individual Independence. Caring For People was a 4 in the actual rating, and an 8 in my ideal rating. Adherence to Rules was a 5 in the actual, and an eight in the ideal rating; and Individual Independence was an 8 in the actual, but a 5 in the ideal rating. The actual ratings for Lawfulness and Financial Company Performance was 7 in both categories, while the ideal ratings for each were 9 and 4. 4. What did you learn about yourself from the Assessment?
